Our company specializes in producing furniture tailored to the individual needs of the customer. The most common modification in most furniture is its size – width, length, height, or depth, and sometimes even the form of the furniture. Each of our products – whether upholstered or living room furniture, tables, or bedroom furniture – can be made exactly as the customer requires. Of course, we also have base models in the proposed catalog options. Nevertheless, we are always open to our customers’ expectations.
We do not charge any additional fees for the fact that the furniture is custom-made. The price changes only proportionally to the material used in production!
Apart from dimensional changes, everyone can decide on the color scheme, type of upholstery, or material from which the furniture will be made, and our qualified advisors will inform you about many other possible modifications within a given product. Each customer becomes, in a way, the author-designer of their own furniture.
Are there additional charges for changing furniture dimensions?
Customers often ask this question when they hear that we make custom-made furniture tailored to individual orders. And yes, in the case of upholstered furniture, cosmetic dimensional changes (up to 5 cm) do not affect the price compared to the base model listed in the price list. Any other dimension is calculated based on the running meter in the given upholstery fabric for each specific model of upholstered furniture. In the case of living room furniture or other veneered pieces, any dimension that differs significantly from the one we propose must be calculated individually, depending on the modifications introduced. If these only involve dimensions, the calculation is done in the same way as for upholstered furniture. However, often a change in dimensions in this type of furniture also entails structural changes within the form, which requires an individual quote.
The situation looks a bit different in the case of beds – whether upholstered, veneered, or lacquered. In this case, each change in dimension results in greater consumption of the material from which the bed is made, hence the additional charges for this type of furniture. Each showroom has a surcharge calculator for a given modification, thanks to which simple adjustments to bedroom furniture can be priced on the spot. Changes that significantly alter the appearance of each bed are treated individually.
